I reported the issue only to be told 'not our problem', take it up with the MacDrive developers.Ĭonsidering that no other DAW displayed the same behaviour fell on deaf ears. etc, but in the end, I just thru my hands up. I jumped thru hoops saving sessions for a while creating separate folders for each incremental save. Some really odd cross linked file stuff going on. Try to recover the session from a back up would report that the sessions already existed, but were not visible. I have had instances where not only would the session that I ( thought) had saved not actually have saved in a directory, but all other previous incremantal saved sessions in that directory disappear from the file manager, yep, disappear. All other DAW's - Cubase/Nuendo,Sonar X1, Reaper, Protools, Samplitude, have no issue whats working with the HFS+ HD, StudioOne would constantly freak out trying to save to that HD. Needing to switch between OSX/Win7, I leave an Audio Streaming HD as HFS+ and use MacDrive to access the HFS+ HD in Win7 ( which AVID also bundle a subset off with PT for the last 6-7 years at least ). Corrupted sessions are not uncommon in StudioOne from my experience, but I did have some other mitigating factors.
